This process is very similar to the previous post "How Do I Go About Downloading YouTube Videos & Spin Them to Make a Profit?" except that I get into how to create your own unique videos and I cover each step in greater detail.
The videos you create will have the "visual energy of a music video" (quote from Animoto) when complete. It's quite easy to do and the resulting video looks great and is guaranteed to be unique when you are finished with it.
I'll be providing steps to create the videos with Animoto.com's online interface. Visit their homepage by clicking here to see the quality of the videos that you can create. They offer two pricing packages for their videos. You can have unlimited videos for $30/year or you can buy individual videos for $3.00 a piece.

I'm not going to be able to help you come up with an idea for the niche/offer, you're going to have to think outside the box on this one. I think "car crashes" leading to a "car insurance" offer may be overdone but it still may have some value. I would certainly pick an offer that gives something away "free", well at least, to the point that you are concerned about. In the case with car insurance, obviously the person is going to have to fork over some money at some point if they chose to take the insurance quote, but you will have likely received a commission from them just filling out an app. Shoot for offers like that.
Look through the offers at Never Blue Ads or choose a different ad network to work with. Let the offers get your ideas flowing so you can figure out which photos to gather.
When starting from scratch with a new niche I usually create about 12-15 videos per week and upload them slowly throughout the week. For each video I'm going to want about 12 photos. Use photos that are funny, shocking, weird, sexy, bizarre, gross...whatever, as long as it relates to the niche in some fashion.
OK, let's get started:
- Get the URL handy for the offer that you are promoting.
- Buy a domain name from GoDaddy (or wherever) that makes sense for this offer.
To get your domain follow these steps (or skip them if you already have one):
- Visit GoDaddy and search for the domain that you want using the box at the top and click 'Go'.
- If it's available, scroll down and click the large orange 'Continue' button.
- Click the 'No thanks. Continue to checkout...' link underneath the green button that says 'Yes! Add these to my order'.
- Create an account if you don't already have one, otherwise login.
- Choose '1 year' from the drop down box or keep it at 2.
- Scroll down and click the large orange 'Continue' button.
- Scroll down and click the 'No thanks. Continue to checkout...' link underneath the large orange 'Continue' button.
- Checkout and login to your account.
To setup the domain to forward to the offer, follow these steps:
- When you are in the 'My Account' area click the 'Manage Domains' link under 'My Products'.
- Put a checkmark next to the domain name that you will be using.
- Click the 'Forward' button with the green arrow above the list of domain names.
- Click 'Enabled' and paste in your offer URL.
- Choose a redirect type. I just pick '301'.
- Click the 'Masking' tab, checkmark 'mask domain', enter a title and click OK.
Gather your photos and resize them if necessary so they'll upload quicker and group them together for the videos that you are going to create. You can create videos with a different theme or just make several videos all with the same theme. But use photos that people would want to look at. As mentioned above, use scary, shocking, funny, or sexy photos for your videos.
Now you'll need some music to play in the background of the video. The site you'll be using to create the video, Animoto, has royalty free music available for you to use or you can upload your own non-copyrighted music. Here are a couple web sites that offer open source music that you can use in your videos if you don't want to use what is available at Animoto:
- Jamendo.com
- DMusic.com
- Opsound.com
- SoundClick.com
Now you'll need to create 2 quick images that contain your URL. They don't have to be anything fancy. If you aren't sure how to go about this, do a quick search on the web.
Once enough photos are ready for at least one video and you decided on music, setup a free account at Animoto. (link opens in new window) After you create your account and are logged in use the steps below to create a video.
Steps to create a video:
- Click the 'create video' button in the top left corner.
- Choose 'Full-Length' because those are the only types that can be downloaded.
- Choose 'Upload' to get your photos from your computer or 'Retrieve' if they are stored on a site such as Flickr.
- Once the images are included, click the ones with your domain names and click 'Spotlight' so it'll give them some extra exposure. Rearrange the images so one domain name image is at the front and the other is at the end. Click 'Continue'.
- Now make a selection for music. Upload yours or use theirs.
- Choose a title and description for your video. Use your URL in the title.
- Click 'Create Video'. It'll take a little while to render. You can create other videos while it's rendering.
- If you are short on photos just rearrange the images and do some remixes to create new videos. You'll get a unique video every time.
- Purchase some credits or a membership and download your videos to your computer.
Uploading your videos:
You can have your videos uploaded at set time intervals to approximately 30 popular video sharing sites automatically, otherwise you can go through the manual process. Here is a link to try the automated approach for 7 days for $1. Or, below I've listed 10 top video sharing sites that you can submit to. Top 10 source is from Video Post Robot, it may have changed depending on when you read this.
Once your videos are uploaded, spread the word. Tell your friends. Social Bookmark them. There are Social Bookmarking sites that are specific to video bookmarking. A couple are:
